Holiday Niche Sites - Send To Your Friends And Family
Do you make money from your niche sites during the various holidays? If not you should be. You don’t even have to worry about ranking on the search engines if you do it right. Build an online holiday resource center for your friends, family and local community. More and more people are buying online and the trend is not slowing down. By making a “holiday gift resource site” you are actually providing a service to your friends and family.
Take Valentines Day for example. Build a nice looking Valentines Day oriented website. Invest a little in it and make it look classy. Research and write some articles on the history of this day and how it is celebrated throughout the world. Put a fiew pages on the various traditions of Valentines Day as well as quality articles. Ad your affiliate banners and links in a tasteful way and make sure it doesn’t look like a billboard and voila, you are ready. Send an email to your friends and family and tell them there is a place online where they can find most, if not all their Valentines Day gifts, flowers, cards, chocolates, spa gift certificates for the wife or girlfriend and much much more. Take out an ad in your local newspaper highlighting your site and let the local community know that as Valentines Day approaches they can go online and take care of everything, especially if their valentine is hundreds of miles away.
Now do this for all the major holidays throughout the year and you should see a steady income as each site becomes active during the run up to the holiday.
Here is my holiday list:
- Halloween
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza
- New Years
- Valentines Day
- St. Patricks Day
- Easter
- Mothers Day
- Fathers Day
- Grandparents Day
That’s ten niche sites that I can work on throughout the year and starting about 45 days ahead of time start letting people know it’s available.
So, there you go. One way to make money online and provide a service at the same time. (Just be careful not to be labled a spammer by your own family and friends……..)

Those are some excellent suggestions. I honestly wouldn’t have thought about it. We spend a lot of time trying to get backlinks and didn’t even think to look in the backyard.
Thanks for some great ideas for a few more sites.
